Caesars Digital Swings to Profit in Q3 2026 as Overall Group Posts $123 Million Loss
Caesars Digital posted a $4M Q3 2026 net profit as adjusted EBITDA rose 57%, even as Caesars Entertainment's group loss widened to $123 million.
Caesars Entertainment reported a $123 million net loss for the third quarter of 2026 on October 27, even as its Caesars Digital online sportsbook-and-casino segment swung to a $4 million net profit, reversing a $21 million loss in the same quarter a year earlier. Group net revenue rose 2.5% to $2.94 billion, but group adjusted EBITDA slipped 2.1% to $865 million, and the wider net loss was driven mainly by the company's corporate-and-other segment, whose own loss grew to $288 million from $240 million.
The digital segment's numbers were the bright spot: quarterly net revenue grew 4.8% to $326 million and adjusted EBITDA jumped 57.1% to $44 million. Over the first nine months of 2026, Caesars Digital's net revenue reached $1.051 billion (up 6.3%), adjusted EBITDA hit $181 million (up 19.9%), and net income climbed to $53 million from $18 million a year earlier. Caesars' brick-and-mortar business was mixed by comparison: Las Vegas segment revenue fell 2.3% and its adjusted EBITDA dropped 9.5%, while the Regional segment grew revenue 5.9% with EBITDA up 3.6%.
Caesars didn't hold an earnings call or issue guidance this quarter because of its pending acquisition by Fertitta Entertainment, announced May 28, 2026; shareholders have already approved the deal, and the FTC has issued a second request as part of its review. Once it closes, Caesars will be private. The company's aggregate debt stood at $11.7 billion at quarter's end, with net debt of $10.795 billion, down slightly from $11.018 billion at the end of 2025.
Caesars isn't a sweepstakes casino and isn't an operator we cover or have an affiliate relationship with on this site, but a legacy real-money casino giant's online arm turning a profit on the way to the whole company going private is a useful data point for anyone comparing regulated real-money platforms against the sweepstakes alternative - digital is increasingly where even the oldest names in the industry are finding their growth.
